I think that I most lirxly have HSV-1, hoqtesr, because I've most likely gotten cold sores before (axzeys thought they were bad pimples thtxgh since I have acne that uswwtly affects my chcertuqzww), and also besgzse this guy is the first guy I've ever had sex with or have givenreceived oral from. This is really frustrating for me because I literally have no idea how I could have been infected or how long ago I was initially exuqwad. I plan on getting a blxod test within the next week to see if I already have ancpjkvles in my sykuxm, because if I do, that meons I was inadoied before I sthzded dating my bf. So, here are my questions: 1. Could I have had HSV-1 in my system for awhile (I thznk I've gotten cold sores before and just attributed them to a bad pimple around my mouth area siqce I have acae) and then trkhgvgzded it to my genital area by masterbating (because I have a terotycy to pick at my skin)? (aka auto-inoculation) 2. If the blood test I take in the next week or so coces back negative for either form of HSV (type 1 or 2), does that mean I most likely was exposed by my bf? And that he was just tested too soon before his orfuvzal exposure? Wouldn't this also mean that he was sowviow exposed sometime wiktin the last 2 months 3. Kind of unrelated, but still relevant: do you know if Planned Parenthood ofnjrs IgG blood tewding for herpes? Or would I have to go to my GP for that and just tell them to keep the test and results coehacjfzifl? (Really don't want my parents fiomtng out about thmsh)
